En El Libro del Pueblo de Dios, consta que Job sintió en carne propia el problema del mal, que se plantea en toda su agudeza cuando el justo sufre mientras el impío goza de prosperidad.
Según los sabios israelitas del siglo V a. C., que aún no tenían noción de la retribución más allá de la muerte, las buenas y las malas acciones de los hombres recibían, en este mundo, el premio o el castigo merecidos. Job cuestionó la doctrina tradicional de la retribución divina de los sabios. Advirtió la libertad, la soberanía y el insondable misterio de Dios.
Soportar el sufrimiento, renunciar a la propia sabiduría y a la pretensión de considerarse justo, son condiciones necesarias para descubrir la verdad de Dios.
Job era un próspero ganadero y el Adversario lo dejó en la ruina, no satisfecho, le infundió un atroz tormento físico. Entonces, Job, que había sido siempre justo y recto, llegó a desear no haber nacido, yacer tranquilo en los mausoleos.
Al verlo tan deprimido y desconsolado, Elifaz, su amigo, le preguntó: ¿acaso tu piedad no te infunde confianza, Job?, y tu integridad, ¿no te da esperanzas? Y lo invitó a buscar a Dios, pues es Él quien hace fracasar los proyectos de los astutos y deshace el de los malvados, los cuales, a plena luz del día chocan contra las tinieblas y andan a tientas al mediodía, como si fuera de noche. La gloria sea con aquel que no desdeña las lecciones del Todopoderoso.
Job and the God´s fathmoless mistery
In the God´s people book we read that Job feels, in own meat, the problem of bad, that it appeare when the just suffer while wickeds enjoy of prosperity.
The Israel´s wises in the V Century (before Christ) yet had not the notion of retribution after this life. So, they have thougth that the goods and bads actions are punished, or awarded, in this world. Job was critics of this traditional doctrine, he realized God´s freedom, sovereignty and fathomless mistery.
Resist to suffering, resign the own wisdom and the pretention of consider self just, are basic conditions to discover God´s truth.
Job was a prosper landholder but the Oponent left him in the ruin. Also, He instiled him physical atrocious torments. So, Job, that ever was just and straight, wished is not have born.
His friend Elifas, to seen him depress and sad, asked him: your godliness has not instiled in you confidence, Job? and your integrity has not given you hope? And invited him to looking for to God, is Him who make fail the wicked´s projects who, in the lightday stumble on gloom. That the glory be with which have not disdained the Almighty´s lessons.
